Get ready to re-enter the captivating world of Avatar! Nickelodeon has greenlit a brand-new animated series, Avatar: Seven Havens, set in the same universe as the beloved Avatar: The Last Airbender. To celebrate the 20th anniversary of Avatar: The Last Airbender's debut, Nickelodeon is pulling out all the stops. The new series will follow a young Earthbender as she discovers she's the new Avatar, but with a twist: in this post-cataclysmic world, being the Avatar marks her as a destroyer, not a savior.

"We're thrilled to embark on the next chapter of this epic saga," said Ramsey Naito, president of Paramount Animation and Nickelodeon Animation. "With Avatar: Seven Havens, we're introducing a new story, new characters, and a whole new world of fantasy and adventure."

But that's not all - Nickelodeon is also releasing a Last Airbender feature film focusing on Aang's journey in January 2026. And to mark the show's 20th anniversary, the network will debut new YouTube content, host in-person experiences, and release special edition books.

The Avatar franchise continues to expand, with Netflix's live-action series running for two more seasons. But with Avatar: Seven Havens, DiMartino and Konietzko are back at the helm, promising an epic and emotional adventure that's sure to captivate both old and new fans.

Stay tuned for more updates on Avatar: Seven Havens, including casting announcements and premiere dates!
